Have you heard of Sujeonggwa which is Korean desert beverage made by adding brown sugar and honey to ginger and cinnamon brews. And pine nuts and dried persimmonts are added.(I personally prefer just liquid tho)




It can be served hot or cold. But generally people drink it cold.










It is consumed during the festive holiday’s such as New Years Day and Korean Moon Festival(Shuseok). 

It is known to help digestion. Maybe that’s why it is served after meals often!

Also, people take this drink especially in winter to ward off colds.
