I've been making fewer dishes lately, but surprisingly, we're still quite content. Turns out simplicity is the key! We enjoyed a salmon sashimi salad with Korean sauce and olive oil, grilled chicken, stir-fried bean sprouts, kimchi, rice, and soup for dinner. And, of course, we added a touch of elegance with a bottle of Champagne. Usually, we go for Veuve Clicquot, but this time, we decided to switch things up and went for Moët & Chandon instead. With just a few days left until our holiday, I'm on a mission to use up all the ingredients in my fridge—time to put my culinary skills to the test!

Recently, my husband got us a new PRISM + Google TV, marking our second television purchase in Singapore. Our initial TV was an LG, bought around a decade ago when we first moved here. It was definitely time for an upgrade. What's great about this new TV is that everything is accessible right from the home page, eliminating the need to switch between different streaming apps. We even have the option to download Apple TV, and the added convenience of controlling the TV with Google Assistant using simple voice commands!

And let me tell you, the color resolution is outstanding—truly lifelike radiance with vivid hues. To complement the visual experience, we also invested in a soundbar. The multidimensional sound it provides has transformed our home into a cinematic space with deeper and clearer audio. Needless to say, we are thoroughly pleased with our new Prism+ TV!

Our family recently enjoyed two consecutive nights of emotional storytelling with "A Dog's Purpose" and its sequel, "A Dog's Journey." Directed by Gail Mancuso, these films beautifully explore the enduring bond between humans and their canine companions.

Last night's dinner featured BBQ beef that I purchased from Redmart. The meat came pre-marinated, but it was too sweet for our liking. To enhance the flavour, I added red chilli pepper powder, grated garlic, pepper, and my homemade BBQ sauce.

Lately, I've been experiencing a loss of appetite, so I decided to try something special from my fridge – "the green chilli in doenjang." It turned out to be incredibly delicious and managed to reignite my appetite.

Numerous healthy, simple, and tasty Korean dishes aren't widely known. While they may not be fancy, they're perfect for enjoying at home.

Are you a fan of lamb? We like to enjoy it from time to time. Our daughter, born in Sydney, developed a taste for lamb chops right after she moved on from breastfeeding—it's been quite a journey!

Recently, we enjoyed a New Zealand Lamb rack. I cooked it in a sous-vide hot water bath for a few hours, and then my husband did a light roast to give it that savoury aroma. Teamwork at its best!

Even our furry friend got in on the action—our adorable pet had a share in the delicious dinner.
We all enjoyed a delicious dinner in the cosy atmosphere of our home.
