Have you tried replicating recipes in children’s’ picture books?
My daughter often asked if we can make them together:)
I remember that I was always interested in foods in books and they looked so attractive somehow!
When she was a still small, we made a character cookies from a Japanese book.
We made these cookies many many times together when we lived in Sydney.
There are many recipes in books we followed till now!!!
This morning was pancakes from her favorite Japanese picture book:)
It was fun to make something from her picture books and we can talk about a lot!!!
Sort of “dream come true!”.
Last week was choco cookies from another picture book!
She loves a time to follow recipes from her books!!!
Omma too!!!
I am wondering what’s next she request!!!
