Do you know about the Korean green chilli pepper called "Cheongyang chilli pepper (청양고추)"? It's by far the spiciest green chilli pepper in Korea!
When you put it in soup or stew, it adds a sharp, refreshing kick and becomes incredibly delicious! It's also amazing in pancakes and dipping sauces!
It's an essential Korean vegetable in our household.
Singapore's heat can be draining on the body. I've made soy sauce pickled with this green chilli pepper. Just heat soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, and water or soju, let it cool to room temperature, wash the chilli peppers clean and pat them dry, then dip them in the sauce. After that, put them in the fridge and wait for a few days.
Serve them with freshly cooked rice, with meat, or even with egg-topped rice! They're just fantastic in any way!
Even when you're not feeling hungry, dishes like this can stimulate your appetite! Although I always seem to have an appetite 🤣 Ah, I'm looking forward to it! ♡
