Hello there!
Today, I'd like to share my approach to nutrition advice. As a Korean culinary chef, I have a deep passion for cooking and, of course, indulging in delicious meals. I believe in enjoying what I love without strict restrictions. Yes, I savour beer and wine too!
In my view, the typical "eat this, don't eat that" approach isn't sustainable. It often leads to overeating and falling off track completely, possibly resulting in a yo-yo diet cycle. Instead, I opt for a more mindful approach. While I generally avoid unhealthy foods that don't agree with my body, I do have my guilty pleasures—like indulging in Shi-ramen during late-night K-drama binges! I understand what's best for my body and mind, so I strive to make gentle and self-loving choices.
With knowledge and wisdom about food, you can make informed decisions about what you eat. I'm here to guide you toward healthier choices without eliminating the joy of eating. Remember, we're all human, and it's okay to sometimes overindulge or simply enjoy food and drinks without guilt. The key is to acknowledge the enjoyment and then make adjustments as needed.
If you follow my Instagram account koreancooking.sg_by_hk, you'll see how I cook and enjoy meals. My style focuses on balance, not deprivation. I aim to help you make healthier choices while still embracing the pleasures of life.
Now, why do you want to be healthier? For me, it's all about enjoying life to the fullest, including savouring delicious foods! However, true wellness isn't just about managing food—it's also about nurturing your body and mind. That's why I incorporate workouts inspired by yoga philosophy into my approach.
