Here in Singapore people are very busy to prepare for Chinese New Year which is falls on 8th February 2016.

Koreans also celebrate the Korean New Year during the same time period.

Have you tried “black rice” before?
This is quite popular for Koreans. Koreans, we enjoyed rice with mixed grains.

My husband prefers white rice abut occasionally I cook something different.

Black rice brightens eyes and excellent for anemia prevention and anti-aging!
It contains lots of fiber and vitamins. Especially vitamin E antioxidants which is liked with a lower risk of heart disease, cancer and other western diseases. 

Also, it helps making the skin clear and shiny spots or blemishes!!!

My datugher doesn’t know anything about the potencies of black rice but she just likes having this rice with Korean miso soup “Doenjang-jjigae”.
