Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
I usually cook Korean dishes a lot but sometimes I get craving for something different.
Every Sunday I close my Kitchen for dinner and my husband takes us to a restaurant:)
Usually we go to a Italian restaurant or French restaurant which is out of my sphere.
BTW, I often cook a spicy dish and non-spicy dish together?
For example, last Sunday lunch. I made gratin. I added kimchi a bit but not spicy!
And this is Tteokbokki(Pan-fried Korean rice cakes with spicy and sweet gochujang sauce).
This is a spicy dish!
So they go well with each other:)
My daughter is well-trained for spicy dishes but still need to have something mild with spicy dishes. For my husband too!
Anyway, when you cook something very spicy, you may cook something with cream or mayo to sooth a spicy taste:)
